What Crematto does
You buy an espresso machine or a bean-to-cup machine once every few years, and prices differ by tens of euros between shops and from week to week. Crematto puts them side by side. Each machine has a single page with all of its versions – colour, finish and bundle – each with its own EAN code or the manufacturer’s model number.
A price belongs to exactly one version: we never compare a Barista Express with a Barista Pro, or a machine on its own with a bundle. We only show shop prices once we have checked them for the exact version; if the version is ambiguous, we show no price rather than guess.
Independent
Crematto doesn’t sell anything and isn’t affiliated with the brands on this site. We use brand names to describe what is in the catalogue, not to suggest a partnership.
If Crematto later earns money from links to shops or from advertising, this will be stated clearly next to the link or placement concerned. The order of products and prices is not for sale.
Not a test lab
We don’t test machines ourselves. We show what the manufacturer publishes, such as the pressure, the size of the water tank and bean hopper, the type of boiler and the milk system. For use and maintenance, the manufacturer’s manual always takes precedence.
